Camping in the Mountains

We had such a great time camping last week, that we decided to do it again over the weekend. We headed back up to Camp Dick, and immediately noticed the aspen trees. In just one week the aspens reached their peak, lighting up the campground with their beautiful yellow leaves. Luckily the site we had last week was empty, so we set up camp and enjoyed our evening. The weather was perfect. David cooked an amazing meal over the fire as a jealous bluejay watched from a nearby tree. And of course we couldn’t end the night without roasting marshmallows and making s’mores!
