The Winter Itch

It’s the dead of winter in Colorado, so naturally Dave and I are dreaming of warmer weather, and what we will grow in our garden come springtime. We currently have two raised beds in our backyard. Last year we grew a few new items like sweet potatoes, corn and jalapeños. Then there’s the plants we grow pretty much every year like carrots, beets, rhubarb and broccoli. This year we’re thinking of dedicating one garden bed to salad ingredients and the other will be a mix of veggies. While we’re counting down the days to May, here are some photos from last summer’s harvest.
