After our bald eagle adventure, we wanted to keep the momentum going and do something fun the next day. The Denver Botanical Gardens announced on Instagram a temporary orchid exhibit in their greenhouse, so Dave and I decided to make a morning of it and grab brunch in Denver beforehand. We chose Ivy on 7th, which had a laid back California vibe to it. And thankfully the food was worth the hour wait!
Each orchid at the botanical garden had such a unique look, from their vibrant colors to different shapes. There were also some that grew as single, solitary flowers while others bloomed in clusters. The exhibit was a nice reason to get out of the house, and help us start exploring Colorado again.
