Our Week

Believe it or not, this view is from an overlook off a local highway

September has been good to us so far. Since Biscuits has recovered from pneumonia and all the rocks he ingested have passed (yes, he thought it was a good idea to eat some gravel by our garage), we’ve finally been able to leave the house. And we’ve been taking full advantage of it by going on weekend drives to the mountains, seeing the Lumineers in Denver, and having David’s brothers visit for a long weekend. And we’re keeping the ball rolling by going camping this weekend!

We had amazing seats for The Lumineers at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater in Denver

We chased down a group of hot air balloons before heading up to RMNP for the morning

Biscuits gave our new sleeping bags his stamp of approval

The aspens are already turning yellow near Rollinsville!

David fishing South Boulder Creek

And a beautiful fish he caught (and released)

One of my favorite fall drives is the old dirt road to Moffat Tunnel
