Master Bedroom Wall

We’ve had some trouble committing to something on the wall above our bed since it will be the focal point of the entire room (no pressure!). We tried a large gallery wall last year, but it looked too busy and cluttered. I wasn’t actively looking for something else until I stumbled across a woman on Instagram who creates grand tapestries. Her pieces are unlike the typical ones in the market; the different size weavings, beautiful color palettes, large fringe – I just loved everything about them. So after getting the thumbs up from Dave, I contacted her about making us a custom piece. 

Mallory was super nice and very helpful. I told her we wanted something calming, using the colors of nature since that was the overall theme of our house. It only took a couple weeks to receive our massive 2×4 piece. The soothing earth tones perfectly resembled an abstract landscape. It was exactly what we envisioned. And Biscuits gave his stamp of approval too! We still need to finish the rest of our bedroom, but at least now we’re one step closer!
