Birthday in the mountains

After doing a wrap-up post on 2018, I realized that I never published this! Last March I surprised Dave with a little weekend getaway for his birthday. I rented a cabin in Estes Park, right off of Lake Estes. The cabin walls were nothing but large windows with unobstructed views of the water and surrounding mountains. The kitchen window perfectly framed Long’s Peaks. And Dave was able to fish right off of the property! It was the perfect way to celebrate his birthday.
