Kale is a new item that we planted in our garden this year. We usually add it to salads, or bake until crispy and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. David recently tried kale lemonade at a restaurant, and wanted to recreate it at home. He winged the recipe, but it turned out really good!
INGREDIENTS
handful of kale
3 lemons
1/4 cup sugar
water
RECIPE
1 Strip the kale leaves from its stem.
2 Juice and strain lemons.
3 Throw kale & lemons in a blender, add the sugar and enough water to fill halfway.
4 Blend and serve over ice.
