Teller Lake

One morning while David and I were driving to Boulder, we sidetracked down a dirt road to an open space we have yet to explore – and it was absolutely beautiful! On the way to the trailhead we passed a field of wheat, several patches of wild flowers and horses grazing in a pasture with the majestic Rocky Mountains in the background. The narrow trail was surrounded by overgrown grass with birds happily chirping away. The path leads to a dock overlooking Teller Lake… and a herd of cows cooling down from the hot summer sun! We also surprisingly saw a pelican hunting for its breakfast. We returned the same day with Biscuits in tow. This is definitely going to be one of our new summer spots.

There must be places like this to discover "to infinity and beyond". How exciting to find such a neat place! I know Biscuits was straining at his leash to get in that water and attack those cows!! Are there any good rocks? love Betty
